2021-02-18 Practise

My first attempts to set rivets!
About 50% were okay.
Some flush rivets became slightly too countersinked.
(i gueess)
The universal ones is okey from this side.
(no smileys)
On the back-side we can se that some rivets are over-squeezed.
(more practise)
My Hand Rivet Squeezer/Dimpler

Two of them just a little over-dimpled.
(i guess)
The two types of rivets that i tested with.

426 is the Flush head Rivet.
Slim Micro-Stop.

2020-07-13 F1 Raven Bird

Raven.
A very fascinating bird.
Thnx to my GF who bought it to me.
It looks exactly like the F1 Rocket in the main image on this blog page!
A black taildragger!

Ravens are one of the smartest animals!
Intelligence can be compared with both chimpanzees and dolphins.
Even a sharper sence of concistency than infants.
"One gram of raven brain contains almost Three times as many nerve cells as one gram of human brain. And the raven brain´s intelligence center, palladium, contains as many as 14 times more nerve cells per gram than what is found in the human cerebral cortex."
This one has a fixed canopy!

This landingear looks like from an RV-8!
No Wheel Pants fitted yet!
