2019-10-08 F1 Fuselage JIG II

All pieces delivered and in place in my garage!

The rectangular 4500 mm long beams lie on the floor!

Time to clean and prime all parts.

The six legs are alredy finished!

I guess these guys hold for a jumbo jet!

Next thing to do is measuring, cutting and welding.

2019-09-22 - F1 Fuselage JIG

Yesterday, material was ordered for the aircraft fuselage JIG.
Upcoming pictures will be from preparation as well as assembly!

The JIG is partially reconstructed due to metric dimensions.
It will also be the first manufactured unit of this kind in Sweden ever!

This 3D view shows 10 important dimensions that must
be correct in this construction.

On one hand, the distances between the transverce c-profiles must
be equal to the longitudinal dimension chain.
The top surface of these profiles must also be level with the four holes
to which the airframes firewall is to be attached in the front.
Other dimensions may vary!
